In addition, Ambassador Yu Dunhai praised President Tinubu’s decision to set up an office dedicated to coordinating the partnership.
He also shared China’s economic success, pointing to the country’s GDP growth, which had quadrupled over the past 15 years, as an example of how determination and leadership drive progress.
Moreover, the Ambassador highlighted China’s support for Nigeria’s human capital development.
In 2024, 1,700 Nigerian youths will receive training in digital and vocational skills, half of all African beneficiaries.
This initiative, Yu explained, demonstrates China’s commitment to investing in Nigeria’s future, not just through infrastructure, but by empowering young people with valuable skills.
Ultimately, the visit underscored the growing ties between Nigeria and China, with both nations eager to collaborate for shared growth and development.
