[News] NLNG signs 15m tonnes LNG supply deal with Eni By Anthony Okafor

 

Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Monday, said it has signed a deal with Italian energy major Eni for the supply of 1.5 million tonnes of LNG per year.
This supply deal will amount to 15 million tonnes in the next 10 years.
According to a statement by the gas company, the volumes of gas will be supplied on both a free-on-board (FOB) and delivered ex-ship basis for 10 years from Trains 1, 2 and 3 of a six-train NLNG production facility on Bonny Island.

The deal follows a similar deal with France’s Total announced last week and a 0.5 million tonnes per year deal with commodity trader Vitol signed in December.Image result for ] NLNG signs 15m tonnes LNG

Nigeria LNG Limited was incorporated as a limited liability company on 17 May 1989, to produce LNG and Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) for export. The plant was built by TSKJ consortium, which was led by former Halliburton’s subsidiary KBR. Other participants of the consortium were Snamprogetti, Technip and JGC Corporation. The first train came into operation in 1999
