New Travel Options Open Up As NCAA Approves VivaJets

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has granted an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) to Falcon Aerospace Limited, trading as VivaJets.

This milestone strengthens the company’s ability to operate commercially while ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards.

Celebrating the achievement, VivaJets CEO Chukwuerika Achum stated, “We are thrilled that the NCAA has awarded us the AOC, marking a vital step in our mission to become Africa’s largest and most efficient business aviation provider.

This certification now empowers us to offer seamless air travel and enhance business connectivity across the continent.”

Global Expansion And Technological Advancements

Meanwhile, VivaJets continues expanding globally, providing aircraft management, fractional ownership, and private jet charters.

“We have successfully launched routes across North America, Europe, and the Middle East, in addition to establishing a Canadian office,” said Chief Operating Officer Tejumade Salami.

“Furthermore, we have embraced technology to improve access and affordability for our clients.”

At the same time, private aviation in Africa is experiencing rapid growth, with private jet flights increasing by 15% over the past year.

Nigeria, South Africa, and Kenya are leading this expansion, as business leaders demand more efficient travel options.

Addressing this trend, Head of Flight Operations Mark Adoga reaffirmed VivaJets’ commitment to excellence.
