Nigerian musicians are bringing honour to the country in the international music industry.
Tems and Wizkid, two Nigerian superstars, were among the first NAACP Award winners announced in 2023.
Tems’ cover of “No Woman, No Cry” for Black Panther took home the award for Outstanding International Song.
Wizkid’s appearance on Chris Brown’s “Call Me Everyday” won the category of Outstanding Collaboration (Contemporary).
The winners were announced on Monday night’s episode of the show.
The NAACP Image Award honours black entertainers.
