Nollywood actress and media personality, Dorcas Shola Fapson, also known as Ms DSF, has addressed rumours circulating about her colleague, Toke Makinwa.
There are claims that Toke Makinwa allegedly got married to her long-time rumored partner, Farouk Umar.
Speculation about a secret wedding emerged on Sunday after photos of Makinwa and Umar at what was described as her “thanksgiving” ceremony surfaced online.
Ms DSF further fueled the rumours by posting a suggestive comment on social media.
This led fans to believe that the pair had tied the knot.
However, in response to the widespread reports, Ms DSF took to her social media page to clarify the situation.
She reveals that her earlier comment about the marriage was just a joke.
Also, she explained that the event in question was not a wedding but a simple thanksgiving ceremony ahead of Toke Makinwa’s birthday celebration.
In a video message, Ms DSF urged bloggers to verify facts before publishing stories. She said: “Bloggers please, I’m just joking. They [Toke and Farouk] are not getting married. Toke is only doing a thanksgiving for her birthday”.
Ms DSF humorously captioned her post with, “I play too much, and bloggers eat sh*t too fast”.
Toke Makinwa, who was previously married to businessman Maje Ayida in 2014, saw her marriage end in 2017.

Since then, her personal life has often been the subject of public speculation.
