Videos emerging on social media reveals that the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, was received by a mammoth crowd in Imo State on Tuesday.
iBrandtv reports that the former Governor of Anambra stormed Owerri, the Imo state capital for the flag-off of his presidential campaign rally ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Despite their political opposition, the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma gave the Labour Party flag-bearer a warm reception into his state.
The duo were seen in photos exchanging pleasantries before Obi went to join his supporters and members of the Labour Party at the campaign ground.
See below a video showing a mammoth crowd as they cheer on Obi’s name.
