Dembélé Gives PSG the Lead
Ousmane Dembélé’s early goal helped PSG’s comeback. Liverpool started strong, with Mohamed Salah almost scoring, but PSG stayed dangerous on the counter-attack.
In the 12th minute, a mistake between Alisson and Ibrahima Konaté let Bradley Barcola’s cross reach Dembélé, who scored from close range.
Liverpool Struggle to Score
PSG created many chances but failed to score more goals. Alisson made important saves from Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to keep Liverpool in the game.
In the second half, Liverpool pushed harder. Luis Díaz’s header was stopped by Gianluigi Donnarumma, Jarell Quansah hit the post, and Dominik Szoboszlai had a goal ruled out for offside.

The match ended level on aggregate, leading to extra time. PSG controlled most of the game, but Alisson made a brilliant save from Dembélé, taking the match to penalties.
Donnarumma Wins it for PSG in Penalties
PSG’s goalkeeper Donnarumma was the hero in the penalty shootout. He saved Darwin Núñez’s shot, putting Liverpool under pressure.
Curtis Jones also missed his penalty. PSG scored all their penalties, with Desire Doue scoring the final goal to secure a 4-1 victory for PSG.
