“I was coming to the game and I said, “Look, it could be the last time (at Old Trafford),'” Salah said.

“Nobody from the club has talked to me yet about contracts. It’s not up to me; it’s up to the club, but we will see.”

Salah emphasized that he’s focused on enjoying his final year with Liverpool, saying, “I just want to enjoy it. I don’t want to think about it.”

“I feel I’m free to play football, and we’ll see what’s going to happen next year.”

Salah admitted that he was surprised at Liverpool’s dominance over Manchester United and said the score line could have been wider; “I agree with you”, he said to the reporter, “I was surprised because the game was open. It could have finished five or six.”

The Egyptian forward has now scored on each of his last seven visits to Old Trafford, with a remarkable tally of 10 goals in those matches and 15 goals in 16 games against United overall.
