The Cultural Day celebration is one of the most important build-up activities leading to the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), and this year’s edition did not disappoint.
Held in Lagos, the 2025 AMVCA Cultural Day was a colourful display of African heritage, fashion, and creativity and two standout stars took home the spotlight.
Big Brother Naija favourites Liquorose and Prince Nelson Enwerem were crowned Best Dressed Female and Male of the night. Their outfits not only turned heads but also paid strong tribute to their cultural roots.
Liquorose wore a rich blue Aso-oke outfit by Prudential Atelier, featuring bold patterns, ruffled sleeves, and a striking bird motif across the skirt.
She completed the regal look with coral beads and a dramatic headpiece that honoured Yoruba culture.
Prince Nelson proudly represented the Benin kingdom in a beautifully detailed traditional attire made by House of Vieve. His confident posture and authentic style earned him high praise and the Best Dressed Male title.
Both winners received ₦1 million cash prizes as part of the night’s celebration of culture and fashion.
The AMVCA Cultural Day continues to serve as a vibrant stage for stars to honour their roots while showcasing the power of African style.
