
Renowned Hollywood actor, Val Kilmer, has passed away, his daughter, Mercedes Kilmer, confirmed on Tuesday night.
The veteran actor died on Tuesday in Los Angeles at the age of 65 following a prolonged battle with pneumonia
Val Kilmer first gained fame with his role in Top Gun
Also, he went on to become widely recognised for portraying Jim Morrison in The Doors, Doc Holliday in Tombstone, and Batman in Batman Forever.
Furthermore, he starred in several major films, including Heat (1995), The Saint (1997), and Willow (1988).
More recently, he appeared in Top Gun: Maverick.
During the 1990s, Kilmer was one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, but conflicts with directors and co-stars, along with a string of unsuccessful films, impacted his career.

Over the years, he developed a reputation for being intense, perfectionistic, and sometimes difficult to work with.
According to his daughter, Val Kilmer was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2014, but he later recovered.
