Legendary Dancer Shabba-Doo Dies At 65

A lot has happened in year 2020 with the COVID-19 pandemic which claimed more lives than the previous years.

Just recently, Joblo reported that legendary dancer-actor-choreographer Adolfo Gutierrez Quinones popularly known as Shabba-Doo passed away just a day to the new year.

The late entertainer was reportedly to be one of the first people who brought hip-hop to limelight and also starred in a movie called Breakin.

The death of the entertainer was announced by one of his fellow members, Toni Basil on December 30, 2020but did not disclose the source of his death.

He wrote:

“It is with extreme sadness the Lockers family announces the unexpected passing of our beloved Adolfo Shabba-Doo Quinones. In this difficult time, we are requesting privacy.”

However, the actor shared a photo of himself on the same day his death was announced.

He stated that he looked sluggish because he had a cold and added that he felt better.

The deceased was a member of the dance crew called The Original Lockers which introduced the locking style of dance to breakdancing and hip hop.
