Rashidi Ladoja, the ex-governor of Oyo state has been formally presented the ceremonial beaded crown as the newly appointed Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland by Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, the Olubadan of Ibadanland.
The prestigious ceremony took place at the Olubadan Palace in Oke Aremo, Ibadan, marking a significant milestone in the traditional hierarchy of Ibadanland.
Oyo Affairs shared videos from the event on X.com with the caption, “Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja has received beaded crown.”
Furthermore, the prestigious ceremony took place at the Olubadan Palace in Oke Aremo, Ibadan, marking a significant milestone in the traditional hierarchy of Ibadanland.
Prior to the coronation, Ladoja had publicly announced to accept the crown at a live radio programme in Ibadan.

Since then, his Bodija private residence has become a Mecca of sorts, with streams of visitors calling to encourage and congratulate him.
