Renowned Nigerian Fuji legend, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as Kwam 1, has firmly dismissed claims of reconciling with his former wife, Fathia Titi Marshall.
Also, he denied speculations surrounding a crisis in his current marriage to Aderopo Emmanuella.
The Fuji legend stated this in an exclusive interview with journalist Stella Dimoko-Korkus
The 68-year-old music icon addressed the swirling rumours following the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, which suggested that Emmanuella had moved out of his home due to an alleged reunion with Titi Marshall and her children.
Kwam 1 categorically denied rekindling any relationship with Titi Marshall.
He stated: “Titi is gone forever. There is no reconciliation. But that doesn’t mean I will abandon the three children we had together”.
Responding to claims of marital tension with Emmanuella, he clarified that they were still together and that there was no separation.
Also, he acknowledged that Emmanuella might have reacted emotionally due to certain issues but maintained that it was not indicative of a broken marriage.
“I’m not estranged from Emmanuella. We don’t have problems. It’s only natural that a woman can feel jealous sometimes. The main problem in any relationship comes from the rules both parties try to enforce,” he explained.
The music legend also shared that he had advised Emmanuella to stay off social media and focus on her business.
He suggested that her unwillingness to do so may have contributed to her emotional outburst.
“She’s not getting any younger. She already has two children in the university and a third about to join them. These are things to reflect on, rather than engaging in online distractions,” he added.
He concluded by stating clearly, “I have no intention of marrying anyone else. Emmanuella is my only wife.”
His Previous Marriage
Kwam 1 had previously married Titi Marshall in 2018 before moving on to marry Emmanuella in 2021.
