When unsolicited advice meets superstar precision, sparks are bound to fly and that’s exactly what happened when actress Sarah Martins offered her two cents on what she believed was Davido’s new culinary venture.
But the Afrobeats icon wasn’t here for the assumptions, especially when they involved his wife, Chioma.
Music sensation, Davido, recently shut down rumours of opening a restaurant after Nollywood actress Sarah Martins suggested on Instagram that the supposed eatery should have been named after his wife, Chioma, known for her love of cooking.
Sarah’s comment came after images of “5ive Star Food” began circulating online.
This led many fans to believe the artiste had ventured into the food business.
However, Davido was quick to set the record straight—and firmly.
Also, he clarified that “5ive Star Food” was merely a promotional campaign for his album “5IVE” in partnership with FoodCourt, not an actual restaurant.
Clearly unimpressed by Sarah’s public advice and the use of Chioma’s image, Davido fired back in a now-viral comment:
“U no get sense …no restaurant was opened. That was a promotional campaign with @foodcourt_app for my album. Now take my wife’s picture off page.”
The blunt response has since stirred reactions online.
