American rapper and producer Kanye West has changed his name again. He now officially goes by the name Ye Ye.
This is not the first time he has changed his name. In 2018, he legally dropped “Kanye West” and became simply Ye.
Now, recent documents filed in California show that he is using the name Ye Ye in his businesses.
The name Ye Ye was added to legal records for companies connected to him, like Yeezy Apparel and his music label.
His business manager signed the documents.
So far, Ye Ye has not spoken publicly about the new name. It is still not clear if he will ask the court to officially change his personal name again, or if this is just for business.
What this means:
If Ye officially changes his name again, businesses and media may need to update records and references.
But until he confirms it, “Ye Ye” remains a name used in legal documents only.
