Kanye West has announced that his Sunday Service choir events will return, starting on Sunday, March 16, 2025.
The rapper shared the news on Instagram Stories by posting a screenshot of a text conversation with choir director Jason White.
Sunday Service first started in early 2019 and continued on and off until 2021. The sessions became known for their gospel-style music and unique performances.
However, Kanye’s announcement quickly took a controversial turn.
Shortly after sharing the news, he posted an image of white robes that looked similar to those worn by the Ku Klux Klan.
This comes after a series of inflammatory remarks on social media.
On 6 March, he wrote on X, “This next album got that antisemitic sound. My new sound called antisemitic.”
It is unclear if his comments are related to Bully, the album he teased earlier this year. He had initially planned to release it in 2025, but its status remains uncertain.
