The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has blocked the road leading to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos in continuation of its nationwide protest over the government’s insensitivity towards education and the plight of lecturers.
The students have barricaded the route to the airport demanding that government responds by accenting to the request of the lecturers and making sure that schools resume promptly.
Road users have been held in the traffic, just as those intending to travel today have also been held in the traffic and they probably would miss their flight.
