Australian actor Julian McMahon has passed away at the age of 56 following a private battle with cancer.
He died peacefully in Clearwater, Florida, on July 2, 2025.
The news was confirmed by his wife, Kelly, in a heartfelt statement released on Friday.
She wrote:
“With an open heart, I share with the world that Julian McMahon, my beloved husband, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer.
“His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible. We wish all of those to whom Julian brought joy to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories.”
Julian McMahon was celebrated for his standout performances in Fantastic Four, Charmed, and the critically acclaimed series Nip/Tuck.
Beyond his acting legacy, Julian was also the son of former Australian Prime Minister William McMahon.
This is a connection that made him a notable figure both on and off the screen.
His death marks a significant loss to the entertainment industry.
