The elder brother of Paul and Peter of P-Square, Jude Okoye, has finally broken his silence on the long-standing feud that has plagued the iconic music group.
Jude Okoye disclosed that he closed out all business with the group over eight years ago
Some Nigerians had dragged Jude Okoye into the lingering issue between the twin.
But he says his involvement with P-Square ended in 2018.
Also, in addressing various allegations made by his brother Peter, Jude clarified several misconceptions.
This includes the claim that he had embezzled funds through a fraudulent company.
According to him, the company in question is a legitimate, publicly listed entity registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
Also, Jude clarified that his wife, who had been implicated in the accusations, was merely listed as a second director for formal purposes and is not a signatory to the company’s accounts.
He added that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had investigated the matter and confirmed her non-involvement.
Also, Jude dispelled the common belief that he was the eldest of the Okoye brothers.
He reveals that there are two older siblings in the family.
Jude’s revelations provide new insights into the internal conflicts that contributed to the breakup of P-Square.
He has been at the center of several controversies, including accusations of fraud, misappropriation of funds, and enforcing a restrictive business model that reportedly led to the group’s dissolution.
