John Legend is set to hit the road with a four-piece band to perform holiday classics from his 2018 album ‘A Legendary Christmas’.
The album, which was executive produced by Raphael Saadiq and features Stevie Wonder, will be the centerpiece of his upcoming festive shows.
The singer said he hopes the performances will feel like a gathering of friends around the fireside. “The music should bring warmth, joy, and a sense of togetherness,” he stated.
Reflecting on how his experience of the holidays has evolved, Legend said that his journey from childhood to fatherhood has influenced how he approaches the season.
“Through songs and stories, I want to celebrate both the festive spirit and the moments that bring us closer,” he added.
In addition to the upcoming holiday shows, Legend released *My Favorite Dream* in August, an album inspired by his family.
The record includes sing-alongs to original songs and children’s classics like “You Are My Sunshine” and Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds.”
