Nigerian music star Reekado Banks has voiced strong concerns over the exploitation of emerging artistes by a yet-to-be-named music executive.
Speaking during a recent interview, Reekado revealed that the executive in question has consistently taken advantage of young, talented artistes trying to break into the industry.

While he declined to disclose the individual’s identity, the singer emphasised the harmful impact the executive has had on the careers and mental well-being of those who have worked with him.
Reekado cautioned upcoming artistes to stay vigilant and thoroughly evaluate any partnerships they enter,.
Also, he warns that not every opportunity comes with good intentions.
“Some of these gatekeepers are not helping the culture; they’re using fresh talents to feed their own egos and pockets,” he said.
