Popular Nigerian comedian and actor Adebowale Adedayo, better known as Mr Macaroni, has described staying faithful in relationships and marriage as challenging but achievable.

Speaking on the Diary of a Naija Girl podcast, the entertainer revealed that, while he is not currently in a romantic relationship, his experiences offering relationship advice to friends have given him unique insights.

“It’s possible not to cheat, but it is very difficult,” Mr Macaroni stated. “I’m not in a relationship or considering one right now, but I’m a relationship expert.”

“My friends talk to me about their relationships, and I advise them. It’s easier to give advice because I’m outside the relationship.”

The comedian went on to discuss the complexities of marital fidelity, noting that the struggle to remain faithful is not exclusive to men.

“It’s very difficult not to cheat as a married person. Both male and female face this challenge.”

“You might tell yourself you’ll cheat only once, but once you start, there’s no going back,” he added.
