Ejimmadu spoke to media at the PDP secretariat in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, among other party officials.
He said, “They’re just trying to avoid being indicted, but that won’t save them.
“The report will be completed and made public as soon as possible.”
He said that the campaign fund had gone unaccounted for since, and that his office had not received the funds.
Those who departed thought they were bigger than the leadership, usurped his position, and “misappropriated party funds,” according to the official.
Ejimmadu stated that their departure was not a cause for concern because they had the right to do so, and that the PDP will find qualified replacements.
