Popular Nigerian singer and record producer, Tekno, has addressed and denied rumors suggesting that he collapsed during a stage performance.
Earlier reports on Tuesday sparked concern, claiming that the artist, who is currently on a music tour, had suddenly collapsed while performing live in South Africa.
A video circulating on the internet appeared to show a singer being carried by several men after reportedly collapsing on stage.

However, Tekno took to his Instagram page to clear the air.
He reassured his followers that he is in good health.
He emphasized that the reports were false and confirmed that he is not even in South Africa at the moment.
“Hey guys, just to let you know, I’m hale and hearty and not currently in South Africa,” Tekno wrote.
“I hope whoever was in that video is okay. Thank you all for your concern. Love you,” he added.
This statement from Tekno has brought relief to fans who were worried about his well-being.
