The Nigeria Police Force confirmed the IGP’s arrival via an official statement on its verified Facebook page on Monday.
According to the statement, the IGP,Kayode Egbetokun has ordered the immediate deployment of additional tactical units to strengthen the security architecture

In response to the carnage, hundreds of aggrieved youths from across Benue State took to the streets of Makurdi on Sunday.
