The 46-year-old actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, recently addressed curious fans who questioned why she seems to have stepped away from acting.
In a post on her Instagram page, Omotola clarified that she intentionally takes breaks to unwind and recharge after years of consistent work.
“I know many people wonder why I take time off from movies for a few years, only to return again.
I’ve seen fans asking when I’ll be back on screen, but when you’ve been working since the age of 15, like I have, you understand the importance of taking time to relax, rejuvenate, and grow.
“Who understands and is keeping up with me?”
She further shared that during her recent visit to Nigeria, from December to March, she filmed two movies in February.

Omotola, fondly called Omosexy, began her acting career at 15.
Also, she made her Nollywood debut as the lead actress in the 1995 film Venom of Justice.
