Veekee James has done it again! Nigerians could never be more proud of their award winning fashion designer than now.
This is because one of the just concluded Miss South Africa 2024 beauty pageant finalists, Chidimma Otse was intimidated by South Africans until she withdrew herself due to threats.
South Africans attacked Chidimma and said she was not eligible to win the crown because she’s of a Nigerian descent.
After a short while, the beauty queen shared a statement saying she will not be proceeding with the Miss South Africa competition.
In reaction to this, amidst other attacks on Nigerians by South Africans, Nigerians went livid and unleashed their fury on South Africans online.
Nigerians asked the South Africans to keep their “crown” to themselves while accusing them of being racists to their fellow black woman.
However, in a turn of events, the Miss South Africa 2024 host, on the night of the beauty show finale, Bonang Matheba was styled by 5 Nigerian fashion designers.
The Nigerian stylists are: Veekee James, Somo, SheyeOladejo, Mazelle, Emagine by Bukola.
Also, Bonang’s makeup, styling, photography and hair were all done by Nigerians too.
The outfits screamed class and luxury but that of Veekee stood out that even South Africans could not get over Bonang’s looks.
Nigerians seized the opportunity to brag about their creativity despite the intimidation against one of their own, Chidimma.

In a video shared by Veekee James, Bonang admitted that the designer made her dress the previous year and it keeps getting better every year.
Because of this event, Veekee James trended on X as Nigerians supported her craft and masterpieces while shading South Africans.
