“I’m trying out for the Olympics in 2028,” Dr. Dre stated, emphasizing that he is “dead serious” about his ambition. When asked which sport he plans to pursue, he confidently replied, “Archery.”

Dr. Dre’s interest in archery dates back to his junior high school years when he was a member of an archery team.

Though his passion for the sport faded over time, it was reignited recently by a Father’s Day gift from his son, who gave him archery targets.

“I have it set up in my backyard, and I heard qualifying for the Olympics is 77 feet. I practice at 90,” Dr. Dre explained, highlighting his dedication to mastering the sport.

As Los Angeles gears up to host the 2028 Summer Games, Dr. Dre’s announcement adds an intriguing and unexpected element to the anticipation.

Known for iconic tracks like “Nuthin’ But a G Thang,” Dr. Dre may soon be swapping the microphone for a bow and arrow, aiming for Olympic glory in his hometown.
