Thierry Henry has been criticised for his behaviour towards Christian Pulisic in a post-match interview following AC Milan’s 3-1 defeat to Liverpool.
AC Milan made a fast start to their Champions League tie against Liverpool on Tuesday when Pulisic opened the scoring in the third minute.
But that was as good as it got for the USMNT star and his team-mates, with Arne Slot’s Reds asserting their authority en route to a 3-1 win at the San Siro.
Pulisic was dragged in front of the cameras at full-time for an interview with CBS Sports Golazo.
A clip from Pulisic’s discussion with pundits Jamie Carragher, Micah Richards and Thierry Henry and host Kate Abdo has emerged on social media, with Henry facing criticism for appearing to ignore the 26-year-old.
In the interview, Richards pushed Henry to ask Pulisic a question.
The Frenchman, who was looking down at his notes at the time, looked up and said, “no”, before looking around in bemusement and then turning his attention back to his notes.
Henry clearly had no interest in speaking to Pulisic further and has been branded an “arrogant piece of manure” for his behaviour.

Some people have come to Henry’s defence, suggesting the former Arsenal striker didn’t want to pile on after a clearly frustrated Pulisic had just suffered defeat.
Others even joked that the 47-year-old is still heartbroken after Abdo’s recent marriage to Malik Scott.
The big matches continue for the American forward. AC Milan take on rivals Inter Milan on Sunday in the first Derby della Madonnina of the season.
