Elon Musk Takes Over Twitter In $44bn Deal

Employees of Twitter are set to quit their jobs after being forced by Elon Musk to work “long hours at high intensity,” or quit.

Major changes have been made since the social media company, Twitter Inc, was purchased by Elon Musk, and this is one of them.

Reuters reported that Musk, having earlier fired half of its workers, is seeking to impose long working hours and an intense pace on its remaining employees.

A poll was conducted on Blind, to estimate the percentage of people that would be leaving their jobs, and, staffers estimated at least 50% would be quitting.

Responding to the employees who plan to quit, the billionaire, stated that he was not worried as “the best people are staying.”

Following the mass resignations, many have rumored that the platform would be shut down, trending the hashtag #GoodByeTwitter.

Musk, however, shared a meme to indicate that Twitter would be going down but there would be Twitter 2.0.

The Reuters report stated that Musk had emailed Twitter employees on Wednesday, requesting them to be extremely hardcore to build a successful Twitter 2.0.
