Mounir Nasraoui, father of Barcelona and Spain winger Lamine Yamal, is currently in a “serious but stable” condition after being stabbed.
The regional police force, Mossos d’Esquadra, confirmed the violent attack.
They disclosed that three individuals have been arrested on charges of attempted murder.
Meanwhile, the stabbing occurred at 19:10 GMT in a car park in the Rocafonda neighborhood of Mataró, approximately 30 kilometers from Barcelona.
Nasraoui was reportedly stabbed multiple times and is now receiving treatment at Can Ruti hospital.
Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia, citing sources close to the victim, reported that Nasraoui’s condition is serious but stable.
Meanwhile, Catalan police have stated that the three detained suspects are currently being questioned at Mataró police station.
Furthermore, the fourth individual involved in the incident is still being sought.
Investigators are working to uncover the full circumstances surrounding the attack.

Also they reveal plans to interview the victim as soon as possible, as well as any witnesses to the crime.
