The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, results are out for those that have so far written the examination.

This has led to worries by candidates including parents that the examination body has cancelled this years’ results because too many candidates scored high or possible extension due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus epidermic code-named COVID-19.

The examination body through its Public Relations Officer, PRO, Mr. Fabian Benjamin, stated that, candidates that have written the examination already should not come to JAMB website to check for their results.

According to him, “JAMB has not cancelled the results of its examination conducted on Saturday, March 14, Monday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

“To check their results, candidates are to send ‘RESULT’ to 55019 and not on the Board’s website.”

If you find yourself in this category: Result cancelled for Misconduct, we advice you seek for other options or wait for the next JAMB form. But, for those who believed they are innocent and did not engage in any Examination Malpractice should wait for JAMB to either make an official statement regarding this issue or wait for them to release all withheld results.

Meanwhile, JAMB candidates with You Do Not Have Any Result Yet, you will need to keep checking your results.

You can do that every 12 hours to 24 hours. Usually, JAMB will release all withheld UTME Results after their investigation.

So those with “Result cancelled for misconduct” and “You Do Not Have Any Result Yet” should wait patiently for JAMB board to make an official announcement regarding such.
