An Anambra woman, who went viral after a leaked s£x tape involving her and another woman’s husband surfaced has something to say in her defence after all.
She reveals a heart-wrenching backstory of domestic abuse, poverty, and neglect that led to her controversial actions.
The woman whose identity has not been disclosed for safety reasons gave further highlight into her actions in a candid interview with a local social media influencer.
The Anambra woman explained that she had never been involved in extramarital affairs until she was pushed to her limit by her abusive and unambitious husband.
“There’s no woman that doesn’t make mistakes,” she said emotionally,
She calls out those judging her without knowing her pain.
Also, she admitted that while what happened might be seen as wrong, it was born out of desperation and a broken spirit.
She detailed the repeated physical assault she endured in her marriage.
Also, she noted that even her husband’s own family was against his violent behaviour.
Despite giving him unwavering support and standing by him through years of hardship, she said he never appreciated her nor tried to improve his life.
“He’s a poor man, but worse than that, he’s lazy and cruel,” she said.
“I helped him, I stayed, I endured… but what did I get in return? Beatings and betrayal.”
The woman, now facing public scrutiny and online bullying, placed a curse on those mocking her and celebrating her downfall.
Rather than express regret for the viral incident, she defended her humanity
Also, she begged for understanding from women who may have faced similar struggles.
