Former presidential candidate of African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has told the Presidency that nothing can stop the #EndBadGovernmentInNigeria protest set to hold this August.
Sowore’s comments came after the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, accused Peter Obi of being responsible for the planned protest.
According to Onanuga, the organizers of the August protest are Obi supporters who remained angry that the Labour Party chieftain did not win 2023 election.
A Sinking Regime
However, to Sowore, the accusation from the presidency against Peter Obi, was a “drivel from a sinking regime”.
Sowore described the August protest as an idea of Nigerians, and not the former governor of Anambra State.

He described Onanuga’s accusation as framing fear.
He said Nigerians are tired of deceit, corruption, wickedness and incompetence of the ruling class.
Nothing Can Stop The Protest
On his X handle, on Saturday, Sowore said: “The drivel from a sinking regime.
There is nothing that could stop an idea whose time has come.
“It doesn’t matter how you frame your fears and shenanigans.
The truth is that Nigerians are tired of the deceit, corruption, wickedness and incompetence of the ruling class.
They have opted to act from all locations at once.”
