The #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest scheduled to hold in different states in Nigeria by beginning of August may experience some hiccups especially in Lagos.
This is because the Yoruba festival, Oro may likely hold on August 1 to August 15.

According to Lagospedia on X, “The Oro festival will be observed in various communities across Lagos from August 1 to 15.”
However, Nigerians reacted to the update in different ways.
While some supported the Oro cultural festival to take its course, others attacked it saying it’s wrong timing and would not stop the protest.
