Nyesom Wike

Rivers State Governor and Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party National Campaign Council for Edo 2020 Governorship Election, Nyesom Wike, has said that his role in the forthcoming Edo State election is not distracting him from performing as governor.

While speaking to journalists in Port Harcourt during an inspection of on-going projects in the state, he said he had a strategy to ensure that Governor Godwin Obaseki returned elected on September 19 on the platform of the PDP.

“So it does not affect governance and the building of infrastructure to develop the state. The campaign is not distracting me because I am focused on delivering on the promises I made to Rivers people.”
