
The American nu-metal/rap band Dropout Kings is in mourning, as it loses its lead singer, Adam Ramey, tragically.
The 36-year-old reportedly died by suicide on Monday, May 19, 2025.
This follows what has been described as a “long and painful battle with addiction.”
The heartbreaking news was confirmed by the band in an emotional tribute shared on social media.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share our brother, Adam Ramey, has passed away,” the post read.
The statement did not go into details but conveyed the band’s deep grief and love for their late frontman.
In addition, a GoFundMe page launched by Ramey’s sister-in-law has provided more insight into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Also, it aims to provide financial support for his grieving wife, Jamie, and their 18-month-old son, Jude.
The page reads in part: “Adam battled inner demons for years, and while he was loved deeply by many, the pain became too much. We are now rallying around Jamie and Jude to help them through this unimaginable loss”.
As of Wednesday, May 21, the campaign has raised over $40,760 toward its $60,000 goal.
