
Canadian rap superstar Drake has shocked fans after revealing that he lost a staggering $124,527,265 to gambling within just one month.
The ‘God’s Plan’ hitmaker, known for his flamboyant lifestyle and love for high-stakes betting, shared the unfortunate news via his Instagram story.
In a now-viral screenshot from betting platform Stake, where he is known to regularly place bets, Drake laid bare the harsh reality of his gambling streak, writing:
“Gotta share the other side of gambling… Losses are so fried right now. I hope I can post a big win for you all soon ‘cause I’m the only one that has never a max — these guys max once a week.”
While Drake is no stranger to risky wagers, the magnitude of this loss has raised eyebrows, even among fellow gamblers.
The rapper has previously made headlines for both major wins and devastating losses.
It appears to be in the throes of a difficult betting phase.
This isn’t the first time the Toronto native has suffered huge losses.
In August 2024, he lost a $450,000 bet backing Israel Adesanya to retain his UFC middleweight title,
Also, this is a bet that fell through when Adesanya was defeated by South African fighter Dricus du Plessis.
Again in November 2024, Drake lost another hefty $355,000 after placing a bet on Mike Tyson.
Mike Tyson was defeated by YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in a heavyweight bout at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Despite his recent streak of bad luck, Drake remains optimistic about a turnaround.
He hinted at a possible big win in the future.
