
Canadian rap superstar Drake has etched his name in music history as the first artiste to earn 10 Diamond certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
This marks a landmark achievement in his illustrious career.
The RIAA confirmed the feat via a celebratory post on social media.
Also, he noted that Drake now holds the most Diamond-certified songs of any artiste.
The latest additions to his Diamond collection are “Hold On, We’re Going Home” from his critically acclaimed 2013 album Nothing Was the Same and the breakout hit “Best I Ever Had” from 2009.
Both tracks have officially crossed the 10-million units mark in sales and streaming equivalents in the United States.
Sharing the news on X, the RIAA wrote: “@Drake has the most RIAA Diamond Certifications of any artist, ever.
‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’ and ‘Best I Ever Had’ are now certified RIAA Diamond.
This brought Drake to a total of 10 Diamond Certifications.
Also, the post also included a visual lineup of his 10 Diamond plaques.
These new honours join an already stellar list of hits in Drake’s Diamond club.
These includes chart-toppers like “God’s Plan,” “One Dance,” “Hotline Bling,” “Life Is Good” (with Future), “SICKO MODE” (with Travis Scott), “No Guidance” (with Chris Brown), and “Love Me” (with Lil Wayne and Future).
Drake’s impressive milestone places him ahead of fellow music heavyweights Garth Brooks and Post Malone, both of whom previously shared the record with nine Diamond-certified songs.

Now, Drake stands alone as the only artiste to hit double digits in RIAA Diamond certifications for singles and albums alik, a testament to his enduring dominance and versatility in global music.
