Dele Alli was all smiles after helping some of his Como team-mates come out on top in a training exercise as he inches closer to a first-team debut.

The Italian team tweeted a photo of Dele and five of his team-mates celebrating a training victory of sorts, with the club posting a gold trophy and medal in the graphic.
This comes at a time when the 28-year-old is hoping to play first-team football for the first time in more than two years.
Ex-Tottenham man Dele has not played first-team football since a loan stint out at Besiktas in the 2022-23 season, with a string of injuries and other issues befalling the attacking midfielder after that.
He was included in Como’s squad last time out and manager Cesc Fabregas has hinted his chance will come soon. But while he waits, Dele seems to be in good spirits at his new team.
Since the start of the 2022-23 season, Dele – who joined Como this January after leaving Everton the month prior – has made just 17 appearances during spells at the Toffees and Besiktas.
