Kevin De Bruyne will initiate formal talks with Napoli over a free transfer to the Italian champions this summer.

After bidding goodbye to Etihad Stadium earlier this week, De Bruyne will appear for City one last time on Sunday as the club take on Fulham at Craven Cottage in their final Premier League game.
The Belgian midfielder is all set to leave the former English champions after 10 years where he won six league titles and a Champions League among several other trophies.
According to ESPN, De Bruyne has already made up his mind on his next destination and will initiate talks with newly crowned Italian champions Napoli over a free transfer in the summer.
However, Matteo Moretto reports that Napoli will offer the 33-year-old a three-year deal. In the first two years of the contract, the Belgium international will earn €6million (£5m/$6m) per year and in the final year, he will pocked €5m.
Former Belgium international and ex-Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen had slammed the Cityzens for not extending De Bruyne’s contract beyond the 2024-25 campaign, as he felt that the midfielder still possesses the ability to play at the highest level in European football.
