Chris Brown’s 2023 single “Sensational,” featuring Nigerian artists Davido and Lojay, has achieved silver certification in the United Kingdom, signifying over 200,000 units sold.
This milestone marks Davido’s third and Lojay’s second certification in the UK, highlighting their growing international acclaim.
Released on October 20, 2023, “Sensational” is part of Brown’s eleventh studio album, 11:11.
Commercially, “Sensational” made a significant impact. It debuted at number 96 on the US Billboard Hot 100, marking the first entry for both Davido and Lojay on this chart, and Brown’s 117th.
The song later re-entered the chart, peaking at number 94. Notably, it topped Billboard’s Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart in March 2024, becoming Brown’s 19th number-one on that chart.
Beyond “Sensational,” Davido and Chris Brown have an extensive collaborative history.
They have recorded over 20 songs together, with notable releases including “Blow My Mind” (2019), “Lower Body” (2019), “Shopping Spree” (2021), and “Under the Influence” (2019).
“Under the Influence,” co-written by Davido, became a sleeper hit in 2022, achieving top ten positions in over 20 countries and earning multiple platinum certifications, including double platinum in the UK.
