Nigerian singer Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, widely known as Dammy Krane, has announced the launch of a prison reform foundation following his recent release from custody.
The foundation is dedicated to advocating for the rights of individuals who have been wrongfully detained.
This initiative comes on the heels of Dammy Krane’s personal experience.
He was arrested and held in custody over defamation charges and accusations of publishing slanderous content about fellow artist, Davido.
Some of his allegations against Davido includes claims of murder, which led to his arrest.
However, through the efforts of social media activist Verydarkman, he was eventually released from prison.
In his first public statement after his release, Dammy Krane expressed deep gratitude to Verydarkman for his support .
Also, he issued an apology for his previous actions.
He acknowledged that he had made several inappropriate statements.
However, he is determined to use his experience to make a positive impact.
Dammy Krane took to X to announce the creation of his prison reform foundation.
