COVID-19 Update: Sanwo-Olu to Lagosian, Stay calm, we're on top of the situation

Following confirmed case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Lagos State, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has assured citizens to remain calm as the state government in collaboration with federal and international health organizations have commenced intervention to contain possible spread of the disease.
However, as part of pragmatic measures to contain the outbreak in the state, Sanwo-Olu, said a number of people who may have had contacts with the patient who flew into Lagos on board Turkish Airline from Milan, Italy are been identified and placed under strict surveillance.
The governor disclosed this Friday morning, while briefing State House Correspondents, at Marina, Lagos Island on the intervention and measure deployed to arrest the situation.
While urging citizens and residents not to panic, Sanwo-Olu said the patient, who is currently quarantined at the Disease Control Centre, Yaba, is in stable condition and under going A molecular test to really confirm if he is positive to COVID 19.
The governor said tracking mechanisms have been activated with the support of relevant authorities to identify possible contacts with the patients, while a number of staff in the company where he is working in Ogun State and the two hotels where he lodged on arrival in both states are under surveillance and necessary test.
