A Los Angeles judge has granted actress and singer Halle Bailey a temporary restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, rapper and YouTuber Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., known as DDG.
This follows serious allegations of ongoing abuse.
Halle Bailey, 25, accused Granberry, 27, of repeated physical, emotional, and verbal abuse throughout and after their relationship.
Their relationship lasted from 2022 until their split in 2024.
The order was issued on Tuesday.
The court mandates that Granberry remains at least 100 yards away from Bailey and their 17-month-old son, Halo, until a court hearing set for June 6.
Multiple Incidents Of Violence
In her legal filing, Halle Bailey cited multiple incidents of violence,
This includes one in January where she claims Granberry physically assaulted her while she was strapping their child into a car seat
Bailey also accused Granberry of breaking into her home in March while she was away.
He sent her a photo of her bed along with a threatening message.
Days later, she said, he became enraged during a dispute over custody.
Also, he damaged her porch security camera, and slammed a car door on her while she held their baby.
However, this prompts her to file a police report.
The filing further alleges that Granberry uses his Twitch and YouTube platforms to incite harassment, claiming Bailey is keeping their son from him and involved with other men.
“Whenever he wishes to cause upset,” she stated, “he starts bad mouthing me to his several millions of fans”.
This resulted in online threats and abuse directed at her.
