Speaking at the private screening of the movie recently, she charged ladies to speak up more and help tackle the problem in higher institutions.

She said, “On behalf of Access Bank Plc, we are very grateful to Kunle Afolayan who has thought it right to bring the issue of gender equality and sexual harassment to light. These are issues that make young ladies keep quiet but I know that from now they would ‘sorosoke (speak up)’. I am so glad because there are many angles that he took the movie from. Parents will watch and they will know how to tell their children to take caution when they relate at some levels wherever they go.

“The young ladies will know that when they are harassed, they need to speak up. They should not only speak up, they should also work in other to be heard where it matters.”

Awosika praised the lead character, and the choice of name, saying ‘Moremi’ meant something to the history of Nigeria.

“The lady, Moremi, looked naïve in some instances but it takes a brave girl who is well groomed from home to go all the way to seek for a witness in a case against her. A nation consists of great women like Moremi because the name is meaningful to the history of Nigeria, especially West Africa. The name Moremi means quite a lot in leadership. Women to-be in leadership may be harassed but they must take their stand. Once you take your stand, you are a victor. I congratulate my sister-in-law, Ibukun Awosika, for being an actor,” she said.
