Once a Top 11 Finalist, Adetshina was forced to step down after the South African Department of Home Affairs raised allegations that her mother may have committed fraud and identity theft.

The model has announced that she will be participating in the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 beauty pageant.

She confirms that she had accepted an invitation to compete in one of Africa’s most prestigious beauty contests.
“I have decided to participate in the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 beauty pageant,” Adetshina declared, expressing her eagerness to represent her heritage on a grand stage.
“I am looking forward to participating in Africa’s most prestigious beauty pageant – Miss Universe Nigeria.”
