Popular Nigerian skit maker Carter Efe has been hit with a double blow after losing access to both his Instagram and TikTok accounts.
This was shortly after making controversial remarks about Afrobeats megastar Wizkid.
The drama unfolded just days after Carter Efe, during a TikTok live session on Tuesday, criticised Wizkid, calling him “an idiot” and accusing him of being too proud.

In the now-viral clip, he said:
“If Wizkid calls me ‘my G’, that means lion don get belle. E no fit happen. That boy too get pride, idiot.”
The statement immediately sparked outrage among Wizkid’s fanbase, famously known as Wizkid FC, who swiftly mobilised to report his social media accounts.
By Wednesday evening, Carter revealed on X that his Instagram account with 1.8 million followers had been taken down
He blames the fans for the action.
In a follow-up video, the comedian appeared visibly distressed as he announced that his TikTok account had also been suspended.
“FC una collect my Instagram account of 1.8 million followers,” he lamented.
“This is getting too much, TikTok account gone. FC una betrayed me. Abeg make una forgive me, Wizkid FC. Wizkid abeg no vexxx. Help me beg FC abeggggg. I’m in severe pain.”
He also expressed concern that his YouTube page could be the next target.
Also, this prompted him to issue a public apology in a bid to de-escalate the situation.
