Jamie Carragher has revealed that he was hilariously mocked by a train driver following Liverpool’s Champions League elimination.

The day after Liverpool were knocked out at the last-16 stage by losing a penalty shootout against Paris Saint-Germain, Carragher was travelling on a train when he heard the Champions League music play over the tannoy.
Disappointment
Carragher said on CBS Sports on Wednesday: “I was on the train this morning, obviously a bit disappointed about last night.
“The Champions League music comes on on the train.
“I’m thinking: ‘Why? Never heard that before.’ And then the guy starts saying: ‘When you get to Euston if you want directions to Paris…’.
“So I’m thinking: ‘What’s he on about here?’ And he did the same when we got there.
“So, I said to the lad who’s the attendant: ‘Where’s the train driver?’…
“He was an Arsenal fan, I found out.
“So he’s putting all that on, so I said to the attendant: ‘Make sure you tell him Arsenal haven’t won anything in 20 years, and just make sure you tell him I told you, and could you pass on the message, please?’
“So, the train driver had his little bit of fun and hopefully maybe I had a little bit of fun later at his expense, if it’s understood he told him.”
Liverpool held a 1-0 aggregate lead heading into Tuesday’s clash but the French giants drew level through Ousmane Dembele’s first-half effort at Anfield.
The two sides could not be separated by extra time, but PSG went through with a 4-1 win in the shootout, with Darwin Nunez and Curtis Jones missing their efforts for Liverpool.
