This is after Man United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday that midfielders, Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay could start training again soon as they step up their recovery from long-term injuries.

According to Solskjaer, Pogba has had the cast taken off his right ankle after surgery, while McTominay has had his knee brace removed.

“It’s hard to put timescales on long-term injuries,” Solskjaer said as quoted by Manchester Evening News as saying on Tuesday.

“Because they also need the training before injury-free and need to be fitter.

“Paul’s had his cast off and Scott took his brace off, so at least they can now start doing some work on the grass.”
